Combining quantitative and qualitative methods, this research explores how social, cultural, and environmental factors shape women’s business success and why access to capital remains the top barrier. Key findings include a surprising reverse correlation between financial pressures (such as rent or mortgage obligations) and speed to cash flow break-even, and the positive role of entrepreneurs paying themselves in accelerating success.
