WEI Texas Scaling Playbook Convening to Explore Growth Gap

Texas offers extraordinary opportunity, but lately its population has been growing faster than its jobs and business expansion. Part of the answer to that conundrum is already in the state: its many solo and small women-owned firms, which have historically expanded and hired at markedly lower rates than male-owned counterparts. Helping those firms grow is one of the most promising ways to close the gap.

On November 5, 2026, in Houston, the Women's Entrepreneurship Institute (WEI) will bring together founders, funders, ecosystem partners, and policymakers to build the Texas Scaling Playbook™ in real time.
