W20 releases Guidebook for Policymakers

The 2026 W20 gathering reached its conclusion this past week as delegates, including WEI President and Co-Founder Sima Ladjevardian serving as co-chair of W20 Entrepreneurship Workgroup, came together for a summit and to release the W20 Guidebook for Policymakers (https://women20.org/w20-guidebook-for-policymakers/). WEI served as a research partner.

The Guidebook is the product of months of work and input from delegates across the G20 countries. From the framework to the data to the recommendations now to be in policymakers' hands, this group showed what happens when women's economic power gets the rigor it deserves.

WEI recognizes and thanks every delegate who brought expertise to the table, especially Entrepreneurship Workgroup co-chairs Virginia Littlejohn, Ruth Jacks, and Gina Diez Barroso; and Anne Simmons-Benton for her leadership throughout.
